The Dayton Dance was first held at the Dayton Learning Center in Dayton, VA in January of 1996. This 20-year legacy has left its mark on many and the dance continues to thrive in the Shenandoah Valley.
For the 2019-2020, the Friday night dance is moving out of Dayton to a location on Court Square in Harrisonburg. Our hope is that this central location will attract new members to our community. And being downtown makes socializing after dances even easier! Dances are held on the second Friday each month, September through May, and feature many excellent local and traveling bands and callers.
